Course objectives
A goal of this course is to provide basic information about a structure of atoms. The course is lectured from historical and phenomenological point of view. It is based on experimental results which formed our understanding of nature. The last part is devoted to particle physics.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful graduation from the subject, a student will acquire knowledge about the structure of atoms and will be able to solve problems related to it, such as radioactivity, interaction of radiation with matter, nuclear reactions, etc.
