Analysis of stylization practices
  * Instructions: Read chapter 11 by Bell on stylization (Bell CH11 – Styling language and
identities)
  * Choose spoken language data from the social media (YouTube, stand-up,…). Provide a short
transcript of a segment that is relevant for your analysis. Identify linguistic features of
stylization, refer to concepts/ideas from Bell’s chapter, discuss and explain what and why is going
on
  * Length: 2-3 pages, as you see fit until you exhaust the topic
