Business Environment

Business Environment

About the course

The future of any business organisation can never be predicted perfectly. The environment generates many opportunities and also threads that make the prediction of the future of the business organisation a very difficult task. Therefore, it is very important for entrepreneurs and managers to make the best effort to analyse their environments very carefully to anticipate and respond to such environmental changes. Hence the main goal of this course is to introduce students and future managers to the analysis of the organisation's environment to be able to recognise and adapt to changes in the environment while keeping the organisation profitable and healthy (Brooks, 2010).

After completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Identify the types of the business environment

2. Identify the significance and nature of each environment

3. Use appropriate techniques to analyse each environment

4. Understand the importance of the global environment

5. Understand the specific features of the family business environment.
