Course objectives
This single-term course is aimed at familiarizing students with the developments in jewellery and costume in the La Tene period. The individual topics will be discussed in the pan-European context and with the emphasis on examples taken from Central Europe and our region (including extensive image documentation).
Syllabus
  • 1 + 2 Introduction, periodization, výzdobné styles and motifs, called. Waldalgesheimský style, clothing, basic literature.
    3. + 4. Inventory early La Tene period and royal tombs period Celtic flat cemeteries, variability and predictive value Celtic circular garniture.
    5 + 6 Parts belt female and male clothing, amulets, pendants and figural.
    7 + 8 Round jewel of glass and švartny and their production.
    9 + 10 jewel in oppidálním period.
