Course objectives
The aim of the lectures is to get students familiar with the development of Czech language among other languages of the Slavic group as well as in the broad context of the Indo-European family.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to - define the status of Czech among other Slavic languages - understand the relation of Slavic languages - know the grammar system of the reconstructed Proto-Slavic and Proto-Indo-European - know the basic historical changes of Czech
