Course objectives
The aim of this theoretical course is to make its participants acquainted with the basic technological principles applied in photography. Not only the issue of digital but also the classic analog photography will be discussed, overlapping with photographic optics and chemistry. The course also serves as a form of a theoretical training for a practical study of the course called Classic and Digital Photography Technology Fusion in the master’s degree programme. The tuition will be divided into five thematic fields: 1) The basics of exponometry, sensitometry, and photographic optics, 2) Photographic chemistry in the developmental process and the following treatment, 3) Principles of the electronic image recording and their confrontation with the classic photographic technology, 4) Analogy of the work procedures in the dark room with the operating principles of the instruments of the computer editors, 5) Specifics of the fusion of the classic and digital photograph.

  • Výuka bude rozdělelna do pěti tematických okruhů:
    základy exponometrie, senzitometrie a fotografické optiky
    fotografická chemie ve vyvolávacím procesu a v návazném zpracování
    principy elektronického záznamu obrazu a jejich konfrontace s klasickou fotografickou technologií
    analogie pracovních postupů v temné komoře s funkčními principy nástrojů počítačových editorů
    specifika fúze klasické a digitální fotografie
