Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the types of science communication, to understand their key aspects, advantages and disadvantages.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to process the assigned topic in various types of science communication.
Syllabus
  • Definition of "science communication" - a description of different models of science communication with different target groups in society • Popularization lecture - basic rules and examples of good practice in the preparation and implementation of this genre of science communication • Communication with the media, publishing on the Internet - basic rules and examples of good practice in the preparation and implementation of these genres of science communication • Popularization brochure and book - basic rules and examples of good practice in the preparation of this genre of science communication • Popularization presentations and software on the Internet - rules of these types of science communication • Science communication in radio and television - basic rules and examples of good practice in the preparation and implementation of this genre of communication of science • Basics of audiovisual programs production - rules and problems of this complex type of science communication
