Course objectives
The courses called Preservation of Monuments (PoM) are connected. They follow one another. The aim of it is to provide students with basic orientation in the theoretical basis of PM and subsequently to give them opportunity to apply this theory in given situations. They also get acquinted with the Czech systém of PoM. Teaching is conducted by explaining the theoretical assumptions and practicing their application to a solution of problems. The aim of the subject Monument Preservation II. is the practice of formulating specifications and determine the conditions of restoration of architectural heritage.
