Course objectives
One-semester lecture course aims to provide an overview of the various areas of historical topography with special reference to the auxiliary historical sciences, the development of settlements with aspects of colonization, shaping the cultural landscape of old roads, iconography, maps and plans, etc. toponomastics.

  • 1 / Subject of historical topography and historical homeland studies, history of research, basic literature

    4 / Reconstruction of the natural environment and its importance to the historical topography
    5 / Use current and archival maps and image documents
    6 / Study floor plans of towns and villages, retrogressive method.

    9 / Studying development of administrative boundaries and historical routes and their significance
