Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit Introduction to practical examples of the relationship between archeology and the public. Nowadays, the popularization of archeology in the widest public is of increasing importance. Not only in the professional, but especially in the lay, where the main aim is to clarify the meaning of the scientific field, to extend the existing knowledge as far as possible in an accessible and comprehensible form. There are a number of activities that have a set of principles and rules to develop the relationship of science with the public. The aim of the lecture is to convey these principles and rules to the students of the field in order to facilitate their contact with the public later in practice.
