- Course objectives
- The course involves a weekly American history lecture followed by a 1 hour seminar, during which students will be expected to demonstrate their ability to critically analyze and synthesize information, and then adequately convey their thoughts in discussion. Ultimately, students will be expected to understand how and why the nation and its people developed the way they did, thereby providing them with valuable insights into the current American character.
