Course objectives
The aim of the course is to build a classical theory of the electromagnetic field in an inductive way. The course concludes with the formulation of Maxwell's equations and the derivation of their basic consequences.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will:
- master classical electrodynamics to the extent necessary for understanding the subsequently discussed phenomena;
- know the laws of electromagnetism to apply in monitoring;
- understand the role of electromagnetic phenomena in commonly known situations;
- able to skeptically assess the pressures that appear in an ideologized form.
