Course objectives
Topics of lectures are focused on their use in practice, they contain practical examples so. Esp. Examples from abroad prove that methods commonly used in the Czech Republic as methods for children, adolescents and "productive" adults are commonly used in educational work with the elderly. Students are acquainted with individual methods, their advantages, disadvantages, crisis spots and their specifics in general. Within the framework of the lessons, guided tutorials and the method of completion, time is given for practical training.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction - development of participatory methods of military and managerial games; The importance of experiential learning and game activities; Introduction of methodology of participatory methods into the narrowest didactic framework: organizational forms of teaching; Educational technologies and aids; Adult participant; Adult educator; Andro-didactic principles, with emphasis: organizing work in groups and plenary; Creation and application of structured workbooks for the effectiveness of teaching controlled by participatory methods.
    2. Characteristics of key features and methods of adult education (acromatic, heuristic, training, experiential, game), methods of self-education, methods of screening, methods of control, diagnostic methods, evaluation methods; Emphasis on participant participation and detailed procedure of professional management of effective work of selection, training, preparation, implementation and evaluation of individual methods in experiential education: ice-scroll, interactive explanation of discussion methods, brainstorming, brainwriting, case method, KaBo method, package delivery method, , DELFI method.

The student develops a program using participatory methods for 2 different groups of seniors (to be lectured), for a total duration of 2 hours.
The student prepares the activity with the chosen activation method, which he practically realizes in controlled consultations during the semester and within the course of the subject.
