Course objectives
Work experience is focused on the area of overnight, inpatient and home healthcare services. Students will learn the structure of the services of hospital inpatient facilities where gynecology and obstetrics diagnostics, treatment and care is provided. They will become familiar with the organization of work and care of women in urgent inpatient standard care and urgent inpatient intensive care wards, subsequent inpatient care and long-term inpatient care in gynecology and obstetric facilities and delivery rooms, at postpartum wards, nurseries, etc. They will learn how to assess individual health and needs of women, infants and clients in terms of midwifery care. They will learn to provide individualized care in midwifery. Clinical wards - gynecology.
