- Assessment methods
- Requirements for Course Completion Students must meet the following requirements to obtain course credit: Attendance – a maximum of 2 absences, after which a written excuse is required. Active participation in classes – Active engagement in discussions and activities during sessions. Group debates – Each student must participate at least once in a structured group debate on a topic related to social pathology. The debates will focus on argumentation skills and the use of specialized terminology in English. Case study – Each student must prepare a short case study (1.5–2 standard pages) focusing on a specific social pathology issue (e.g., juvenile delinquency, homelessness, gambling). The study must include an analysis of the problem, key English terminology, references to expert sources, and proposed solutions. The final output can be an essay, a presentation, or a video summary.
