Course objectives
The course objective is to provide a basic overview of memory and cognition training systems, and to familiarize students with individual and group training activities for seniors. Students acquire the selected memory training techniques and learn how to plan, prepare and implement the basic lesson of individual and group cognitive training.
Learning outcomes
Professional knowledge: Students acquire knowledge about memory and cognitive training, they can characterize the specifics of cognitive training in seniors, describe cognitive training for selected groups of senior population.

Professional skills: Students can apply their knowledge into practice, can design and prepare lessons of cognitive training for a selected population of the elderly (healthy population, seniors with mild cognitive impairment, elderly people with dementia).

General qualification: Students are able to use the knowledge and skills of cognitive training in the context of educational care for the elderly.
