Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic information about physical education and health activities, which they can primarily apply in practice. Emphasis is placed especially on the correct implementation of individual activities with reference to individual and age peculiarities of students.
Learning outcomes
Expertise:
- the student is able to explain the benefits of physical education
- characterizes individual types of weakening
- lists appropriate balancing exercises and physical education activities
- can define basic concepts in the field
Professional skills:
- the student is able to assemble an exercise unit focused on various types of impairment
General competences:
- the student is able to put together physical education activities for students with regard to age, weakness and individual peculiarities
Syllabus
  • 1. Definition of basic terms - health physical education, health groups, physical activity, physical activity, weakness, muscle imbalance, balancing exercises.
  • 2. Healthy lifestyle.
  • 3. Diagnosis - correct posture.
  • 4. Muscle imbalance.
  • 5. Balancing exercises - strengthening, stretching, relaxing, balancing, breathing and relaxing.
  • 6. Exercises according to the type of weakening - weakening of the torso, weakening of the lower limbs, respiratory weakening, obesity.
  • 7. Physical education activities - movement games, music-movement activities, elements of yoga in ZTV, etc.
  • 8. Creation of an exercise unit - according to the age category, according to the type of weakness.
  • 9. Tools used in physical education activities.

Assessment methods
Students will be evaluated for practical output - balancing exercises and seminar work - building an exercise unit according to the type of weakness. The evaluation will include active participation in teaching and fulfillment of partial tasks.
