Course objectives
The subject is aimed at complex and structured conception of pedagogic issues, key terms, concepts and aspects of educational theory, which should be comprehended as a foundation for additional subjects over the definition of the subject, functions, principles and objectives of education - science base on the education of people.
Syllabus
  • 1. Subject of pedagogy and his definition, basic categories of people education, pedagogy genesis as science.
    2. Roles and tasks of pedagogy, concept of pedagogy paradigmas.
    3. System of the pedagogical sciences, characterization of the pedagogical disciplines.
    4. Theory of education, goals and principles of education. Targeted intentionality of education. Classification of educational goals.
    5. Educational process as activisational and dynamic system. Educational process as complex and formative impact on individual.
    6. Principles of education.
    7. Means and methods of education.
    8. Educational segments of democratic society. Cognitive education, ethical education, labour education, multicultural education and others.
    9. Key components of educational proces, object and subject of education. Competences for education and to lifelong learning (LLL).

Student prepares in given dates (viz study pillar) selected correspondent tasks from study pillar and send it to lecturer.
He/She can have consultation to study themes from subject via e-mail, or personally. Credit test (minimum 75% successful fulfilment) from designated elementary literature, completion of activity tasks;
