Course objectives
The course forms the core competences of conceptual science expression of the students, their ability to work with professional literature and interpret it. During the semester, students will consult with their supervisor in group and individually on the theoretical part of the thesis. The studied Czech and foreign professional literature will be gradually compiled and processed according to the proposed thesis outline.Any new sub-chapters will be consulted with their supervisor to justify their inclusion.Students will be active in searching for other sources, trying to work only with current professional literature, unless the nature of their thesis requires older resources. When processing the thesis, they will strive for stylistic and grammatical purity, respect the rules of authorial ethics, adhere to the rules for direct and indirect citations. At the end of the semester, the planned schedule for the creation of the thesis will be evaluated and any possible non-performance will be justified in writing. If the thesis supervisor accepts the reasons as relevant and the theoretical part processed meets the specified requirements, he or she will award the student credit.Students must update the schedule of next steps so that they can complete the thesis within the set deadline.
