Course objectives
The aim of the course is to define basic terms as well as to analyze both internal and external company`s business environments and, also, to recommend particular proposal for selected company based on the analysis of particular entrepreneurial environment.
Syllabus
  • Course structure:
    1 Introduction, successfulness of the entrepreneurial activities and identification of factors which plays role.
    2 Entrepreneurial supporting activities within Czech Republic and European Union, business environment support and institutions of these activities
    3 Business legal aspects, corporations and other forms of companies
    4 The state and business environment, legislations and consequences of lawmaking and its changes.
    5 Family business as a business environment segment
    6 Family business and its specifics in business environment of Czech Republic and EU
    7 Factors influencing on the macro, mezzo and micro- business environment
    8 Company`s inner environment (scientific and technical aspects of development, marketing and distributional factors, corporate, financial and budgetary factors)
    9 External environment (PEST, PESTEL analysis, branch and sectoral corporate environment - 3C)
    10 Entrepreneurial environment researches and the evaluation of its quality
    11 Entrepreneurial environment within the Czech Republic and European Union
    12 Entrepreneurial potentiality management

Requirements:
Seminar paper on the business environment issue. Ongoing test (min. average of the 60% successfulness required)
The analysis of selected region`s business environment or specifics of selected business unit is basic issue of final seminar paper which must be evaluated by teacher before the final exam. Student must pass the test where the content of general knowledge of the course is checked.
