Course objectives
The course is a free continuation of the knowledge acquired in the course Geography of Tourism, which further develops it. The main part of the course will be devoted to the expansion of professional vocabulary together with the introduction of individual Italian regions with their most famous and lesser-known tourist destinations.
Learning outcomes
Student after graduation:
- will know in detail the geography of Italy
- can characterize all Italian regions

  • 3. Le regioni delle Alpi. Configurazione verticale.
  • 4. Liguria e Veneto. Configurazione orizzontale – mari, coste, spiagge.
  • 5. Piemonte e Lombardia. Configurazione orizzontale – laghi, fiumi.
  • 6. Lazio, Vaticano. Religione, santuari.
  • 7. Emilia Romagna. Agricoltura, gastronomia.
  • 8. Toscana e Umbria. Storia, arte, musei.
  • 9. Marche, Abruzzo, Molise. Le terme.
