Course objectives
Lecture will deliver basic information about this young discipline to students and introduce them current problems of linguistic research. Particular attention will be paid to the classification of the text, its creation, interpretation and structure. The seminar focuses on the analysis of specific texts.

Teacher's information
Students are expected to hand in their final project 2 at the end of the fourth semester. The project should be theoretical. Students are expected to work with different sources of information, use the knowledge acquired during their studies and present the results of their work together with their own opinions. The final project should have 10-15 pages, should be written in German according to the criteria for academic papers. Each student chooses the topic of their final project from the following fields: grammar, pronunciation, literature of German speaking countries, life and institutions in German speaking countries, or didactic applications in teaching foreign languages.
