Course objectives
The basic study material for this course consists of a series of songs by Italian "singing authors" of the 1960s-1990s. The songs are interesting not only for their melodies but, above all, for their serious lyrics. This material forms a basis for discussion as well as for further grammar and lexical exercises. The aim of this course is to motivate students in their study of Italian culture. It also gives students the possibility to practice the language and to extend their vocabulary.
