Course objectives
The class is focused on basic concepts of poetics which are necessary for further literary studies in the programme; the accent is given on the ability to describe and analyse a literary text.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to:
- define basic concepts of poetics;
- analyse verse rhythm;
- analyse specific poetic devices;
- define specifics of literary work construction;
- describe the form of a literary work.
