Course objectives
The course deals with the classical Latin language system and focuses on the basics of morphology as a necessary basis for a linguistic study with reference to the origins of English vocabulary and grammar formation in German. The semester ends with a written examination. In the winter semester the students will deal with the present tense and the declination of nouns and pronouns.
