Course objectives
The course deals with the origin, the limits of digital recording, reconstruction, distribution and transmission of 3D optical image, both stereoscopic image and a holographic image. The course includes practical exercises.

  • - Optical basics of 3D perception.
    - Methods for recording and playback of stereoscopic 3D image.
    - The principles, characteristics and basic methods of holography.
    - Basics of digital holography - Recording and digital image reconstruction.
