Course objectives
Focus will be at detailed knowledge of transitional period between late Eneolithic and early Bronze Age. Main attention will be at issues related to historical development of this period and material culture. Tuition will be focused at both primary and detailed questions.

  • 1 / Remote communication in prehistoric times, its causes and its and its functions (especially commercial and military).
    2 / Determination natural environment.
    3 / Characteristics of the colonization process in prehistoric times, and peripheral traditional settlement area, the importance of peripherals and their settlement in the context of the communication.
    4 / Sources, meaningful communication.
    5 / Previous research on long distance upper Poodří.
    6 / reconstruction options during communication routes.
    7 / Communications importance of the upper Odra river from prehistoric times to the present.
    8/Hlavní communication lines in Poodri documents and their function: Oderská gate.
    9 / main communication lines in Poodri documents and their features: Low Jeseník.
    10 / Main lines of communication in the Odra and documents their function: Pass Jesenik.
    11 / The role of waterways, especially the Oder, in the long distance upper Poodří
    12 / Archaeological and historical evaluation.
