Course objectives
This course gives a concise overview of the history of modern travel, tourism and spas with the accent on the Czech Lands. It gives an account of the preconditions of modern tourism. It draws attention to various kinds of travel and tourism, organized or spontaneous (travel agency, hiking clubs etc., summer camps, holiday by the sea etc.).
