The prerequisite for the selection of the subject is knowledge of public administration issues, especially state administration, it is advisable to have general knowledge of administrative law proceedings in the case. The subject Real Estate Cadastre in the Czech Republic is a specialized subject designed for students interested in this area of state administration

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills in one of the special areas of governance, such as the cadastre of real estate. The topics of the lectures are designed to give the student an overview of the general facts, i.e. the relevant legal norms of substantive and procedural law. The topic also includes information on the structure of institutions authorized to make decisions and provide services to the public, special parts are the interpretation of the individual types of entries in the land register - entry, note, record, as well as the sanction policy and compensation for damages arising from the wrongful action of the administrative body. The course provides students with information on selected aspects of the land register. The
Learning outcomes
Expertise
The course introduces students to the performance of the state administration of the cadastre of real estate in the Czech Republic, in the introduction it deals with legal regulations and principles of governance. It then focuses on the administrative procedure in the matter, as well as the structure of the institutions of the Land Registry and the tort liability of both the administrative authority and the subjects concerned. Interpretation is also given to the position of the judiciary in matters of appeal. The student is able to explain and apply the knowledge acquired through the study in the special field of "land" law.
Professional Skills
The student will acquire information and professional knowledge on the approach of the administrative authority in the exercise of state administration in the field of land registration, and will be able to assess the justification in making decisions in this area. On the basis of the acquired information with the use of professional knowledge they will be able to apply theory in practice.
General competence
The student will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in further studies and use it, for example, when assessing whether the procedure of an administrative body that is entitled to make decisions in matters of land registry and thus apply the knowledge e.g. as an official of this administrative body. Teaching methods
The student has the opportunity to participate in lectures, in the seminar folder he/she creates a text from the field of cadastre, which he/she presents, other students can discuss the topic. As part of the study, a visit to the Cadastral Office can be made.
Assessment methods
credit Preparation and submission of a seminar paper, 1 interim and final test - knowledge of relevant legal norms and mandatory literature.
