- After becoming familiar with content, goals and the organization of the course, as well as requirements for succesful completion, students of combined studies will independently study material pertaining to the methodology in addition to the recommended reading. Students will receive this additional material from the teacher (updated selection of the sources listed below), which are relatively more difficult for them access. (published abroad cca 30 years ago - from M. Borák, E. Livečka, J. Kalnický, M. Tuma etc.; and at present there are not new books, for example HOBO- or DELFI- methods), and which contain important aspects of participatory methods explained in more detailed steps so students better understand the issues. In addition students will be given exercises - elaborate case sudies, scenarios for role-playing, panel discussion, brainstorming, brainwriting, etc. - according to the course content. Students will have the posibility - outside the lessons too (by e-mail) - to discuss problematic issues from literature, which are to be studied independantly. Self-study will be done under teacher supervision.

- Course objectives
- The course gives students a detailed familiarization of various participatory teaching methods Subject content is students familiarization in a detail with participating teaching methods (interactive interpretation, group teaching, discussion methods, HOBO- and DELFI- methods, brainstorming, case study, basket method, balíku role-playing, model didactic game) with their basic functions, goals, principles, and possibilities of effective use in education, including correct choise, preparation, method of implementation and evaluation, which students themselves test in seminars. Active participation in seminars is required - during the practical application of teaching methods - under the teacher's supervision. Student prepare and present a seminar paper: proposal of a methodical approach for the application of participatory teaching methods (by choice) for a specific group of adult participants. Active participation by the student in the seminar, as well as the seminar paper are condition for credit.

- 1. Introduction to the core issues- Methodology contextualization of participatory methods to the narrowest of didactic framework: organizing form of education; educational technologies and instruments; adult participant; lecturer; andro-didactic principles;
2. Educational methods (acroamatics, heuristics, trainings), self-educational methods; evaluating methods, control methods, diagnostics methods, assesment methods; with predominant emphasis on participation of the parties and detailed procedure for professional management of effective job selection, training, preparation and evaluation of particular methods in education - especially:
o Interactive lecture.
o Discussion method.
o HOBO method.
o DELFI method.
o Brainstorming.
o Brainwriting
o Case study.
o Basket method.
o Role-playing.
o Model didactic game.
o Principles of organizing work in the groups and plenary session.
o Principles of creation structured work notebooks for education guided by the participatory methods.
