Course objectives
The seminar focuses on the analysis of the activities carried out by a specialist in various stages of working with the client. The instruction and training will be carried out through solving specific problems that students encounter in their practice. Students will be encouraged to gain insight, through discussions, role playing, or another suitably chosen method, into the whole issue and learn to find and propose various options for solving specific problems. Study Outcomes: Professional Knowledge: Students will acquire extended knowledge of the objectives and tasks of public administration and also of the ethical principles of work and the typology of clients. Professional Skills: Students can navigate in the selected areas of public administration and understand the issues in relation to the various theoretical concepts. General Qualification: They understand the knowledge acquired during their lessons and can apply them in further studies and in professional practice. Competences: Students build on and develop the knowledge and skills necessary for the performance of the work of an administration officer. Students can uphold conversations, plan, administer and implement direct work with the client.

  • 1. First contact with the client, conducting interviews.
    2. Conclusion of contracts, basic evidence.
    3. Role of observation and communication.
    4. Risks and pitfalls in the work of an officer.
    5. Legislation.
    6. Supervision sessions on topical issues of practice.
