K absolvování předmětu nejsou vyžadovány žádné podmínky a předmět může být zapsán nezávisle na jiných předmětech.
Studentovi, který získá certifikát z cizího jazyka s mezinárodní platností, bude na požádání uznána příslušná část dle dosažené úrovně jazyka.

Course objectives (in Czech)

Cílem výuky v prvním ročníku je docílit u studentů úrovně B1. Dovednosti komunikace v cizím jazyce jsou orientovány na běžné profesní situace, jakož i schopnosti orientovat se jazykově v širokém spektru problémů denní profesní reality. Jsou rozvíjeny komplexně všechny čtyři typy dovedností - mluvení, čtení, poslech a písemný projev. Důraz je kladen především na aktivní mluvený projev, na jazykovou pohotovost a schopnost plynule se vyjadřovat v cizím jazykovém prostředí. Systematicky vede k získání mezinárodních certifikátu na úrovni B1a k přípravě na další mezinárodní zkoušky. Předmět má za úkol seznámit studenty se způsoby tvoření a obohacování slovní zásoby a také vést studenty k uvědomělému a cílevědomému používání jazyka v komunikaci jak z hlediska plynulosti, tak gramatické přesnosti. Student bude schopen číst jednodušší texty zaměřené na ekonomii, management, marketing a finance a vyjadřovat se k nim.
