Course objectives
The goal of the course is to expand the vocabulary of terminology in the field of tourism and active use of grammar structures. In the seminars attention is paid to the translation of thematic sentences using the vocabulary and grammatical structures, practicing and developing the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in tourism on the basis of authentic written materials and audio recordings at the B2 level. Attention is paid to the training of a language for a guide, a manager at a travel agency, a tour operator with marketing and promotional capabilities along with the conscious use of language in terms of the adequacy of the situation and solving problems in a foreign language with a focus on practice.

Requirements on student:
The course is finished by the course-credit.
Students will prepare a speech for the oral ongoing test to one of the above topics in the curriculum, which is evaluated by the teacher in the range from 0 to 20 points depending on the level of the speech. The written test is set at 20 points, the credit test at 60 points. Successful completion of the course is determined by obtaining at least 60 points out of 100 possible points.
