Course objectives
A student knows basic mathematical notions, assertions, problems and solutions of problems that find their application in practice, especially economic, and can use them for solutions of practical problems.
Syllabus
  • - Linear programming - formulation of basic problems and examples, standard form of mathematical models, basic feasible solution, optimal solution
    - Simplex algorithm
    - Duality principle
    - Parametric programming
    - Assignment and Transportation problems
    - Integer programming
    - Dynamic programming
    - Selected topics from the game theory: games with mixed strategies, games against nature, solution algorithms
